Clyde Valley Plum Negroni

Plum · bitter · spirit-forward

Our autumn twist on the classic: Clyde Valley Plum Recipe gin in place of the dry gin, one part each. The plum brings its own bittersweet fruit that sits between the Campari and the vermouth rather than fighting them.

Start with the essentials

What you’ll need

Servings: 1

Ice & garnish
A strip of orange peel, twisted over the drink
Ice cubes to fill the glass

Equipment
A measure and a long spoon

A few simple steps

How to make it

  1. Fill the glass

Fill a rocks glass with ice cubes.

  2. Pour

Measure the plum gin, Campari and sweet red vermouth straight into the glass.

  3. Stir and garnish

Stir for about 20 seconds. Twist a strip of orange peel over the drink so the oils land on the surface, then drop it in.

If it tastes harsh, the fix is colder ice and a longer stir, not more vermouth. Clyde Valley Plum Recipe is a limited autumn release and sells out, so make this while you can.
