Equipment
A pan and a whisk
A few simple steps
How to make it
Heat the milk
Heat the milk gently and whisk in the chocolate until smooth.
Off the heat
Take the pan off the heat, then stir in the liqueur.
Finish
Pour into a mug. Grate a little chocolate over the top, or add a pinch of salt if you want it less sweet.
Adding the liqueur off the heat keeps the coffee bright and stops the alcohol cooking off.
Our suggested spirit
Make it a Biggar.
Made with Biggar Cold Brew Mocha Liqueur. In a hot chocolate it does what a shot of espresso and a square of dark chocolate would do, in one pour.
