Equipment
A measure, cocktail shaker and fine strainer
A few simple steps
How to make it
Chill the glass
Put a coupe or Martini glass in the freezer while you shake.
Shake hard
Pour the Mocha Liqueur into a shaker filled with ice. Shake hard for 15 seconds — the shake is what builds the foam.
Strain and garnish
Fine strain into the chilled glass, let the foam settle and finish with three coffee beans.
One bottle, no coffee machine. For a drier drink, add 25 ml of Biggar Gin to the shaker; for a sweeter one, a splash of milk turns it into a Mocha Flip.
Our suggested spirit
Make it a Biggar.
Made with Biggar Cold Brew Mocha Liqueur: distilled speciality coffee beans, cocoa nibs and cocoa husks, finished with cold brew from Papercup Coffee in Glasgow.
