Equipment
A pan, a ladle and a measure
A few simple steps
How to make it
Warm the juice
Warm the apple juice with the cinnamon and star anise in a pan until steaming, not boiling.
Gin first
Put the plum gin in the mug.
Ladle and finish
Ladle the hot juice over the gin. Drop in a fresh cinnamon stick and float the orange wheel on top.
No added sugar; the plums and the apple do that between them. For a crowd, keep the spiced juice hot in a big pan and add the gin to each mug as you serve.
Our suggested spirit
Make it a Biggar.
Made with Clyde Valley Plum Recipe. Plum, apple and cinnamon are the combination the whole season was waiting for.
